Fall drive to Chuckanut
A fine way to spend a mostly dry fall day. Breakfast in Marysville (real biscuits!), and then all of the back roads along Puget Sound up to Bellingham. Included a nice run through Fir Island (saw the Snow Geese already), The Skagit Valley tulip fields, Larabee St. Park (photo) and Chuckanut Drive (look out for those leaves!). If you ever get a chance, I highly recommend the baked goods in Edison. Worth going out of your way for this tiny little town.
